CityStory24 is a bilingual digital news website that brings you news from across India and from every state, in English and Hindi. Our motto is “Every City Has a Story” — we believe news matters most when it is about the place you live in.
What we cover
We publish national news along with state-wise coverage, organised into these sections:
- India and Politics
- World
- Business
- Sports
- Entertainment
- Technology and Science
- Health and Lifestyle
- Education and Jobs
- Environment
You can choose your state from the menu at the top of any page to see news from that state, and switch between English and Hindi at any time.
Where our news comes from
We want you to know where every story comes from. Each article on CityStory24 names its source and, wherever possible, links to the original.
- Official releases: Many of our reports are based on official press releases issued by the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Government of India. These are credited to PIB and link to the original release.
- News briefs: Some stories are short briefs that credit the original publisher and link to the full story on that publisher’s website.
- Agency copy: Where we publish material from a news agency, it is used under licence and credited to the agency.
How we use technology
We use automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to help turn source material into short, clear reports, to translate headlines and summaries between English and Hindi, and to create illustrations for stories. We do not reuse other publishers’ photographs; photos from official PIB releases are shown with credit. AI-made images are labelled “Illustration: AI-generated”, and images that do not show the actual event are marked “Representative image”.

We try to be accurate and fair. If you find a mistake in any story, please tell us through our Contact page and we will check it and correct it as quickly as we can.
