Participation: Total 40 farmers from Utlapally and sorrounding villages participated actively. The main crops of the participants are Paddy, Citrus (Bathai/Sweet Orange), Cotton, Chilli and Vegetables.
Arrangements: At the venue, arrangements of Tent, 50 Chairs, Table, MFL Standee and Bannar of Reform Utsav 2026 – Kisan Sangosthi PM PRANAM were made. Handouts and leaflets regarding sustainable agriculture were distributed. Cool drinks, Biscuits and Water bottles were provided to all 40 farmers.
Subject Matter Covered: During the Sangosthi, detailed deliberation was made on PM PRANAM scheme and the key reforms and initiatives of the Government of India relevant to farmers and agriculture sector. Farmers were explained about the importance of 100% Neem Coating of Urea for paddy crop, use of new generation Nano Fertilizers and Potash Derived from Molasses (PDM) which reduces cost and improves quality of Citrus fruits. The concept of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Kendras as one stop solution for all agri-inputs and the implementation of One Nation One Fertilizer under Bharat Brand to ensure uniform quality was discussed. Special focus was given on PM-PRANAM to promote organic and bio-fertilizers for restoration of soil health in paddy fields. Farmers were also informed about the Drone Didi initiative for drone based fertilizer application which saves time and labour, Green Ammonia initiatives, reforms in iFMS and DBT for transparent subsidy transfer, integration of iFMS with AgriStack for digital farmer services, and the New Investment Policy for Urea to make India self-reliant in urea production. The progressive farmers shared their experiences in paddy and citrus cultivation.
Compliance: As per Office Memorandum of Department of Fertilizers and letter dated 30.09.2026 of HURL as coordinator, the Category-1 activity under Reform Utsav 2026 was mandatorily conducted in an organized and meaningful manner on Day-2 i.e. 06-10-2026.
