- Ministries/Departments are planning to make #SpecialAbhiyan6 the biggest special operation ever. Targets of cleanliness drives and norms for disposal of pending cases captured on Special Drive 6 portal
- Under a new component of the special campaign, the Ministries/Departments will take the campaign to the last mile covering each office and establishment through a focused campaign activity on a fixed day and date.
- #SpecialCampaign6 is also gaining momentum on social media. Large-scale awareness and dissemination of the campaign is being promoted through electronic, print and social media, under which 3,023 tweets and 103 PIB statements have been issued.
Special Campaign 6, launched by the Government, has gained significant momentum, with the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) designated as the nodal department. The preparation phase of Special Operation 6 (16 to 30 September, 2026) was completed on 30 September, 2026 and the implementation phase started from 2 October, 2026.
Under a new component added in Special Campaign 6, the identified Ministries/Departments will dedicate one day of the campaign for focused work. This will include activities like cleanliness practices, grievance redressal, better utilization and efficient management of office space, plantation drives etc. This will cover all their attached/subordinate offices, autonomous bodies and field units, so as to ensure wider participation and enhance the impact of Special Drive 6 across the country.
