- HDMC will retrofit 336 auto tippers
- Each vehicle gets two additional bins
- Change follows new waste management rules
The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, HDMC, will fit 336 auto tippers with two extra bins. The move follows new waste management rules that expand how garbage is separated.
The upgrade means each vehicle will carry more bins for sorting waste at the source. Residents will see the change on the streets as the retrofits roll out.
