The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research – Ahmedabad is participating in the Special Campaign for Disposal of Pending Matters-6.0 (SCDPM-6.0), scheduled to be implemented from 02 October to 31 October 2026, with a preparatory phase from 15 September to 30 September 2026.
The campaign aims to further institutionalize cleanliness, efficient disposal of pending matters and references, effective record management, and scientific management of e-waste across the Institute.
During the preparatory phase, NIPER-Ahmedabad is undertaking a systematic assessment and identification of pending matters, records and obsolete/unusable items requiring appropriate action. The Institute is also focusing on identifying e-waste for scientific segregation, disposal and channelization through appropriate mechanisms in accordance with applicable guidelines.
The campaign will also emphasize clean and organized office and institutional spaces, efficient utilization of available resources, disposal of obsolete materials, and timely resolution of pending references. Faculty members, officers, staff and students are being encouraged to actively participate in the campaign and contribute towards creating a cleaner, more efficient and environmentally responsible institutional ecosystem.
Through SCDPM-6.0, NIPER-Ahmedabad reaffirms its commitment to Swachhata, sustainability, responsible resource management and good governance, while strengthening cleanliness and administrative efficiency as an integral part of the Institute’s institutional practices.
The campaign will be carried out in coordination with the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemical and Fertilizers, New Delhi, with due emphasis on scientific and environmentally responsible disposal of e-waste and other identified waste materials.
