The Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development, felicitated its cleaning and housekeeping staff on September 30, 2026 as part of the ‘Safai Mitra Suraksha Seva and Samman Shivir’ under the Swachhta Hi Seva initiative. This honor was given in recognition of his dedicated contribution in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the workplace. The occasion highlighted the role played by sanitation workers in ensuring a clean, healthy and well-organized environment at the workplace.
The felicitation ceremony was organized under the leadership of the Secretary of the Land Resources Department. Senior officers and employees of the department were present in the ceremony. Ten sanitation workers were honored on the occasion for their dedicated contribution in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene at the workplace.
