Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam, which states that a determined and steadfast person never gives up until he achieves his goal. He emphasized that just as the gods were not deterred by the precious gems and deadly poison found during the churning of the ocean, they continued their efforts until they obtained the nectar of immortality.
Prime Minister shared Sanskrit Subhashitam-
“Ratnairmahabdhestutushurn deva na bhejire bhimavishen bhitim.
Sudhaan vinaa na prayyurviram na nistitarthadviramanti dheeraah.”
The meaning of this Subhashitam is that just as the gods continued their efforts till they attained the nectar of immortality without getting distracted by the precious gems found in the ocean and its deadly poison, similarly determined and unwavering souls do not rest till they achieve their goal.
Mr Modi wrote in a post on Twitter;
“Ratnairmahabdhestutushurna deva na jashire bhimavishen bhitim.
Sudhan vinaa na prayyurviram na nistitarthadviramanti dhirah.”
