Memorandum of Understanding on Migration and Movement Partnership (MMP)

The objective of this MoU is to develop migration and movement cooperation under the principles of equal treatment and to prevent and combat irregular migration/human exploitation/trafficking in accordance with national laws. It provides for a multiple-entry visa for up to 5 years, including a stay of up to 6 months on each visit, and a renewable 1-year student permit.

Agreement on Exchange of Young Professionals (YPS)

The purpose of this agreement is to regulate the movement of young professionals from one country to another to take up temporary employment. This allows them to enhance their professional and linguistic skills in their field. The YPS covers the exchange of 300 people per year per country, expandable to 500, and a 30/90 day timeline for verification of nationality/residency status, among other provisions.

MoU between the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways on Promotion and Cooperation in Transport Technologies, Mobility Systems and Infrastructure in identified sectors.

This MoU aims to promote cooperation in sustainable infrastructure development, with a focus on transportation and mobility systems by advancing technologies and infrastructure in electric vehicles, ropeways, circular economy, tunnels and other transportation sectors.

Letter of Intent (LOI) between the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)

The objective of this Letter of Intent is to promote long-term collaboration between the Indian and Swiss research communities by supporting exploratory scientific collaboration, building partnerships for future joint research and establishing a comprehensive framework to sustain long-term initiatives in mutually agreed priority areas.

5.

Implementation Agreement (IA) for cooperation in innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship between the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and Zurich University of Applied Sciences.

The Implementation Agreement (IA) aims to establish bilateral cooperation in innovation, technology transfer and entrepreneurship by implementing the India-Swiss Academic-Industry Training (AIT India) program for early-stage startups through bilateral exchanges, joint workshops, capacity building and networking.
