- Condolence observed for Late Dr. Engam Pame, Chairman, IMPCC Nagaland Chapter;
The 5th meeting of the Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC), Nagaland Chapter, was held today at the Directorate of Information & Public Relations (DIPR), New Capital Complex, Kohima.
The meeting was hosted by the Directorate of Information & Public Relations, Government of Nagaland and was chaired by Smt. Ella Kayina, Head of Programme, Akashvani Kohima, in the presence of Smt. Dzuvinuo Theunuo, Director, IPR, Government of Nagaland.
At the outset, a eulogy in memory of Dr. Engam Pame, IIS, Additional Director General, PIB & CBC, Regional Office, Imphal and Chairman, IMPCC Nagaland Chapter, was observed by members of the Committee with a minute’s silence. Shri P. Sophie, Head of Office, PIB & CBC, Kohima, highlighted the life and dedicated service rendered by Late Dr. Engam Pame to the Government and society.
The meeting was attended by representatives from various media units and departments including DIPR, Akashvani, Doordarshan, Directorate of Census Operations, Mera Yuva Bharat, National Statistical Office (NSO), PRO Defence, Central Bureau of Communication and Press Information Bureau.
