Former Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said Odisha’s move now allows the SEBC community’s numbers, representation and issues to be accurately reflected in local governance.
He said the change covers both rural and urban self-governance institutions in the State. According to his statement, the move goes beyond the technicalities of OBC reservation.
