A youth was stabbed to death in Gunawad, on the Indore-Ahmedabad highway in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday night.
What happened
The victim has been identified as Vikas Kayastha. He was stabbed in the chest when the two sides met outside a hotel.
A dispute over a minor matter at the hotel turned violent, according to the details available. Eyewitnesses and locals said Vikas was badly wounded and fell to the ground. He lay there for about half an hour.
Two other people were also injured in the incident.
