Six companies, among them Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and JSW Dulux, have paid out extra money to shareholders in FY26. The amount per share runs from Rs 10 to Rs 236.
The other firms in the group are Indo Borax & Chemicals, Premco Global, Majestic Auto and Honda India Power Products. Each of them has made a payout beyond its regular dividend.
How the shares have performed is far from uniform. Some stocks have moved in very different directions, showing that a special payout does not always lift a share price.
