Shri Amit Shah said, "Modi ji, as the Chief Minister, made it an example by rebuilding earthquake-ravaged Kutch, providing 24-hour electricity to every village through the Jyotigram scheme, giving a new direction to investment and industry through solar energy and Vibrant Gujarat, and by achieving agricultural growth rate of more than 8%, he created a model of good governance in Gujarat, which later became the basis of the entire country. As the Prime Minister, this vision expanded. From space to sea and on global platforms. India achieved new achievements in the field of internal security. There was a big change in the lives of people – 25 crore people came out of poverty and crores of families got permanent houses, health cover of up to ₹ 5 lakh, Ujjwala gas connections and tap water in every house.
