- Shri Prahlad Joshi led the 'One Day, One Hour, One Together' labor donation and cleanliness campaign in Gargi College.
Union Education Minister Shri Prahlad Joshi today led a labor donation and cleanliness campaign at Gargi College, Delhi University under the nationwide ‘One Day, One Hour, One Saath’ initiative. He also planted saplings in the college campus under the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. On this occasion, Shri Prahlad Joshi interacted with the students and said that cleanliness has a deep connection with public health and welfare. He also stressed the importance of collective participation in making cleanliness a consistent habit.
Shri Prahlad Joshi emphasized on the role of students in promoting cleanliness, environmental awareness and responsible citizenship. He encouraged the students to maintain cleanliness not only in educational institutions but also at their homes and public places.
Shri Prahlad Joshi called upon the students to contribute at least 30 minutes in cleanliness-centric activities. He reiterated that individual efforts can inspire collective action and transform cleanliness into a mass movement.
Shri Prahlad Joshi highlighted the importance of physical fitness and outdoor activities among the youth. He encouraged students to participate in sports and spend time in playgrounds and stressed on maintaining a healthy balance with screen-based activities.
Shri Prahlad Joshi called upon the students to contribute to the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of building a developed India by the year 2047. He said that students are an important pillar in implementing this vision through responsible citizenship and active participation and building a clean, green and healthy India.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor of Delhi University, Prof. Yogesh Singh, faculty members of the college and senior officials of the ministry were present.
