Giving a new impetus to the overall development and rural upliftment of Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister of Agriculture, Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday handed over a grand gift of 3 lakh permanent houses at a cost of Rs 3,600 crore to the state in a historic ceremony held at Burripalem village in Guntur district. In the dignified presence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Shri Chouhan laid the foundation stone of 177 pilot housing projects to be built using the country's first 3D concrete printing technology. In front of the crowd of thousands of citizens gathered in the public meeting, Shri Chouhan said that today the 'one and one eleven' duo of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in Delhi and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Amravati is doing 360 degree development to make the state the number-1 state of the country.

A new record was created in the direction of rural development on Sunday in the historical village of Burripalem (Tenali Mandal) in Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh. Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu jointly gifted 3 lakh pucca houses to the poor under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural 2.0). Along with this Rs 14 crore. The foundation stone of the country's first 3D concrete printing housing pilot project to be built at a cost of Rs. ​In the program, Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Dr. Chandrashekhar Pemasani, Andhra Pradesh Civil Supplies Minister Shri Nadendla Manohar, Housing and Information Minister Shri Kolsu Parthasarathy, Tourism Minister Shri Kandula Durgesh, BJP State President Shri PVN Madhav, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Bhashyam Ramakrishna, MP Shri Lingamaneni Ramesh, Member of Legislative Council (MLC) Shri Alapati Rajendra Prasad, Housing Corporation Chairman Shri Bathula. Senior officials of Andhra Pradesh and Central Government including Tatayya Babu and thousands of villagers, farmers and mother power were present.

​76 Gave 3 instead of thousand Lakh Housing; Said- Will ask for 9 They will also give lakhs

Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced, "Officials of our ministry had told me the quota of only 76,000 houses for Andhra Pradesh. But Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that I have to fulfill the dream of every poor in my state, we need more houses. With the blessings of Prime Minister Modi ji, we have directly handed over the first installment of 3 lakh pucca houses to Andhra Pradesh, not 76 thousand." He further said, "Babu smilingly said, 'Dil Maange More', we need 6 lakh more houses. I told him - Babu, the entire Government of India is yours and I am also yours. You complete these 3 lakh houses, soon after this the next 3 lakh and then 3 lakh houses will be sanctioned. 100 percent poor people in Andhra will get permanent houses."

3D Concrete Techniques: 6 Strong houses will be ready in a month

Terming the 3D concrete printing project being started in Burripalem and Obulnaidupalem as the housing revolution of the country, he said that this pilot project will save a lot of time, cost and labour. Through machinery and advanced technology, these houses will be ready in just 6 months, whose strength and lifespan will be much more than traditional houses.

​ PM Modi gave legal rights to Amravati

Shri Chouhan said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi got Amaravati the status of the only permanent capital of Andhra Pradesh by passing a law in the Parliament and Rs 15,000 crore. Released special assistance amount of Rs. Life-giving projects like Polavaram are now being completed at full speed with 100 per cent grant from the Central Government. Also, Alluri Sitaram Raju International Airport will take new heights to the connectivity of the state.

Mission of ‘Annadata Sukhi Bhava’ and 60 lakh ‘Lakhpati Didi’

Referring to the empowerment of farmers and women, Union Minister Shri Chouhan said that Rs. 6,000 is being given by the Central Government. Chief Minister Naidu donated Rs 14,000 to 'Annadata Sukhi Bhava' in the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi. By adding this, farmers get Rs 20,000 annually. Has given historical financial help. He said that Andhra will be made the country's largest horticulture hub for fruit, flower, vegetable and medicinal farming. Discussing self-help groups, he said that 23 lakh sisters in the state have become Lakhpati Didi, which the NDA government will increase to 60 lakh. He announced that for the first time in the history of the country, the National 'Saras Mela' is being organized outside Delhi on 15th October in Andhra Pradesh, which will be inaugurated by the President herself, Smt. Draupadi Murmu.

Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan started his speech in typical Telugu with slogans of 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Shri Venkateswara Bhagwan ki Jai' as soon as he came on the stage. He said that the land of Andhra is a confluence of knowledge, science, talent and rich traditions. Paying homage to this holy land of Tenali Ram, he said, "Telugu language is sweeter than honey and today it is making its unique identity in the whole of India. If I am the maternal uncle of Madhya Pradesh, then I am also the maternal uncle of Andhra Pradesh. Serving the people is the worship of God for me. Seeing the passion, honesty and passion of the people here, only one thing comes out of my heart - I really want to meet you, Baba!"  

Appreciation of Dr. Pemasani's simplicity and vision of Chief Minister Naidu

Union Minister Shivraj Singh expressed special happiness over the visit of his colleague Union Minister of State Dr. Chandrashekhar Pemasani to his native village Burripalem. He quipped, "Initially I used to think that Chandrashekhar ji is an 'America returnee', will he be able to understand village life and rural development? But I was stunned to see his cordial connection with the public, spirit of service and clarity of work. Babu (Chandrababu Naidu) really grooms the talents and brings them forward in politics for public service." He said that Chandrababu Naidu is a symbol of dynamic, dedicated and decisive leadership. It was he who made Andhra the IT hub of the world and today the same vision is making Amaravati the leader of AI, quantum technology, data center and advanced manufacturing.

​Chief Minister Shri Chandrababu Naidu, while expressing his gratitude to Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, said that Shivraj ji is the favorite and beloved 'uncle' not only of Madhya Pradesh but also of the entire Andhra Pradesh. He said, "Shivraj ji is such a public leader who has made an invincible record in Madhya Pradesh on the basis of his good governance and service. Today, as soon as we put before him the issue of permanent housing for the poor of the state, he won the hearts of the people of Andhra by approving 3 lakh houses in one go instead of just 75,000. When I told him that the NDA's resolve is to provide a permanent roof over every head and we need a total of 9 lakh houses, he It was promised in the gathering that as soon as the first phase of work is completed, the Central Government will immediately release the remaining 6 lakh houses.

Chief Minister Shri Naidu assured that with the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and continuous support of Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Andhra Pradesh will emerge as the number 1 state in the country on every front of infrastructure, agriculture, modern technology and rural development.
