Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the 10th India Mobile Congress on 8 October at Yashobhoomi in New Delhi. He is also scheduled to speak to the gathering. The inauguration is set for around 10 AM.

Four days, one theme

The event runs from 7 to 10 October. The Department of Telecommunications and the Cellular Operators Association of India are jointly organising it.

Its theme, “Scale Without Boundaries”, highlights India’s growing strength in digital innovation, next-generation connectivity and technology-driven growth.

Four pillars and who is coming

The congress rests on four pillars: Srishti (Building the Future), Samvardhan (Fueling Growth), Sashakt (Expanding Opportunities) and Suraksha (Strengthening Trust).

Discussions will cover innovation, next-generation digital infrastructure, tech-led economic growth, inclusive digital access and secure digital systems. Global tech leaders, policymakers, industry experts, startups, investors and innovators will take part.

Nine anchor sectors, four new domains

The 2026 edition covers nine established anchor sectors. These include 5G and 6G, next-generation AI networks, semiconductors, non-terrestrial networks, cyber security, quantum communication, enterprise transformation, circular economy and ESG, and electronics manufacturing.

The organisers are also adding four new domains: smart mobility, stadium experiences, industrial robotics and transport technology.

Scale of the event

More than 1.5 lakh attendees are expected, drawn from over 100 countries. The event will host 500+ partners and exhibitors, 600+ startups and 900+ thought leaders.

The programme includes over 2,000 technology use cases and over 120 sessions.
