- PIB, CBC Participate in ‘Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath’ Shramdaan at CGO Towers, Kavadiguda
As part of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, being observed under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat”, the Press Information Bureau (PIB), Hyderabad, and the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Hyderabad, participated in the nationwide “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” Shramdaan at CGO Towers, Kavadiguda, Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, Additional Director General Smt. Shruti Patil, IIS, highlighted the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that the Swachh Bharat Mission is a people-led movement. She emphasised that cleanliness is not a one-day activity but a continuous responsibility, and called upon officials and staff to make cleanliness a regular part of everyday life.
Smt. Patil also appreciated the efforts of the sanitation workers of CGO Towers for keeping the premises clean and hygienic. As a token of appreciation, gloves and sanitation kits were handed over to the sanitation workers in recognition of their dedicated service.
On the occasion, as part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, launched by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Additional Director General Smt. Shruti Patil, IIS, along with officers and staff of PIB and CBC Hyderabad, planted saplings at the CGO Towers premises, contributing to environmental protection and enhancing green cover.
