Youth who earn 1,000 points on the MY Bharat Portal will get a formal recognition letter under a new rewards system from the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.
The Points, Rewards and Recognition (PRR) mechanism is rolling out on the portal. It rewards young people who stay active in volunteering, experiential learning, civic work and youth development.
Milestones and recognition
Points lead to a set of rewards. Youth reaching 1,000 points get a letter of recognition signed by the Director, MY Bharat Division. At 2,500 points, eligible participants will be recognised on official MY Bharat social media handles. Their name, photograph and MY Bharat ID will be published only with their consent.
Achievers at 5,000 points will be featured in a dedicated MY Bharat Digital Hall of Fame on the portal. The profile will show their name, MY Bharat ID, photograph and a short profile. The government may also explore letting other users send messages to achievers, with safeguards in place.
Books and signed copies
Rewards grow with each higher milestone. Youth at 7,500 points will receive the hardbound book Modi@20.
Those reaching 10,000 points will get a signed hardbound copy of The Golden Road: How Ancient India Transformed the World by William Dalrymple. The Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports will sign it.
At 20,000 points, eligible achievers will get a signed hardbound copy of Treasures of India: From Antiquity to Modernity by DK. The Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports will sign it.
Meetings with leaders
The top milestones offer direct access to national youth leadership. At 50,000 points, youth can meet the Minister of State at an upcoming Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) or another major youth event.
At 1,00,000 points, youth can meet the Union Minister at a future VBYLD. In both cases, the portal will identify the achievers and MY Bharat Headquarters will verify their details. Felicitation for these two milestones is proposed to start from October 2027.

The minister said youth power is the strength of Viksit Bharat. The government says the PRR mechanism is meant to build a lasting culture of service and leadership among young people, under the vision of Samarth Yuva, Viksit Bharat.
