On Tuesday, the Vande Mataram Camp 2026–27, organized by Mera Yuva Bharat, Uttarakhand in Dehradun, concluded with cultural performances by various states, a personality development session, and the felicitation of participants. The diverse activities organized during the camp provided young people with an opportunity to connect with national unity, cultural diversity, leadership, social responsibility, and youth engagement.
The day began for the participants with a morning meditation session. Dr. Govind Singh, Chairman of the Media Advisory Committee to the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, conducted a special session on Communication Skills and Personality Development. He interacted with the participants on the importance of personality development, effective communication, and presenting oneself better.
Following this, group cultural performances were presented by participants from various states. Contingents from Kerala, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Delhi, and Rajasthan showcased the folk traditions and cultural heritage of their respective states. Through these performances, the audience witnessed India’s diverse cultural traditions on a single platform.
After the group presentations, participants also delivered solo cultural performances. Among these, traditional Kalaripayattu from Kerala and Ragini from Rajasthan, along with various art and cultural expressions from different states, added special attraction to the event. These performances further strengthened cultural understanding and mutual respect among the participants.
Thereafter, certificates were distributed to participants who successfully took part in the camp. Alongside Dr. Govind Singh, Mr. Rahul Dabral, State Director, Mera Yuva Bharat, Uttarakhand, and Mr. Avinash Singh, Deputy Director, Mera Yuva Bharat, were present during the certificate distribution program. The guests honored the enthusiasm and participation of the youth by presenting them with certificates.
Following the certificate distribution, participants captured memories of the camp by taking group photographs with their peers from different states and the organizing team.
With the conclusion of the Vande Mataram Camp, the dialogue, cultural exchange, and learning process fostered among youth from different states left a positive impact. The various sessions and activities conducted during the camp aimed to connect young people with topics such as patriotism, volunteerism, social responsibility, leadership, personality development, cultural diversity, and the role of youth in nation-building.
Thus, the Vande Mataram Camp 2026–27 concluded successfully, achieving its set objectives and providing participants with the opportunity to return to their respective states enriched with diverse experiences, interactions, and learnings.
