Green-card freeze hits 8 IT firms, including TCS: Vembu urges return

Eight IT firms, including TCS, now face PERM suspensions that freeze green-card sponsorship. Both new applications and those already pending are affected.

Zoho co-founder Sridhar Vembu has asked Indian professionals working in America to return and help build the country’s technology sector. Former education minister Dharmendra Pradhan has publicly supported that call.
